About Karen
I’m Karen Bowman. A licensed Realtor, interior designer lover, wife and mother to three grown children.
I am a native La Jollan and a University of Southern California alumna with bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the university. I am passionate about helping others and love what I do! I work with the #1 real estate team in La Jolla at Berkshire Hathaway and am in the top 12% of more than 50,000 Berkshire Hathaway agents worldwide. I truly feel blessed that I get to help families find their perfect home.

Prior to real estate, I spent 20 years in marketing and PR with Qualcomm and other leading organizations. In addition, I had a 17-year career as a competitive and professional figure skater, and performed for 2 years in Europe with Holiday on Ice.
Giving back to my community is important to me. Thus, I currently serve on the Boards of the La Jolla YMCA and the USC Trojan League of San Diego, and am on the Executive Committee for the annual La Jolla Secret Garden Tour. My husband and I reside in La Jolla, and when I am not out helping clients, I love to walk on the beach, hike, ski, spend time with my family and travel.
