About Charlie

Real estate roots run deep for Charlie, being the 4th generation of relators in his family. Growing up in the Napa Valley where his father sold luxury real estate for over 35 years, Charlie continued the tradition, earning a Broker's license selling real estate in both the Napa Valley and San Francisco. Growing up in the "family business" gave him a formative exposure in real estate that fostered a strong intuition in the market and an ability to work with a wide range of clientele. Combining those early observations with a strong business and marketing background, as well as a natural talent for understanding each client's unique situation, Charlie continues his passion for real estate in the Santa Barbara market.
On the personal side Charlie, and his wife, a UCSB Gaucho, spent 7 years living abroad in Croatia with their three children prior to making Santa Barbara their forever home. As Charlie says, "It was an opportunity of a lifetime, and sometimes you have to just seize the moment." This time abroad on the Adriatic coast gave him a new appreciation for living a vivacious life, being fully present and subscribing to a slower pace of quality over quantity.
As a dedicated, hands-on father who has moved his family internationally Charlie has a global perspective, while at the same time really understands and appreciates what it takes in finding your community and putting down roots in a place you call home. "I've done extensive research and traveled widely, and Santa Barbara is truly a unique place with the very best of everything to offer." In his free time, you can find him sailing, playing tennis with his family, or being involved in volunteering at his church and in the community.
